they are really making this truck out to be epic, but is it really that much better than a chevy silverado or a dodge ram?
I’m shocked to realise that some americans actually need to be reminded about this, or worse, didn’t know that yet.

Not only do these things cost a fortune, and not only do you have no use for them, but while you’re driving these monsters you are also spending money on gaz for nothing, and even worse, you’re polluting the air, contributing to global warming and wasting a scarce and finite resource which is oil.
Now if you americans are telling me “hey buddy this is the american way we looove our pick-up trucks it’s our culture!” Well, what can I say… I’d rather not say anything. Don’t want to offend you.
Do you americans have any idea how stupid it is to buy such a gaz swallowing monster without really having the use for it? I live in Switzerland, and as you may know, we have loads of mountains here, one third of the country is mountains, 12000 ft high, and guess what, those few of us that live in remote locations off paved roads manage with just a 4-weel drive station wagon and some snow chains. And nevertheless they can fit in anything they ever have to transport.
In which situation an average american needs to tow 10′000 pounds up a steap hot road like that? Beats me. Crazy americans…

Acttually, the United States and Canada are the only 2 countries in the world where Toyota’s car sales out sell it’s truck sales.
It’s not old Chevrolets or Fords I see on safari with over 800,000 km on them. It’s the fucking Land Cruisers and the FJ40’s.
